Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (クライシスコア -ファイナルファンタジ) is stepping away from the traditional turn based RPG that Final Fantasy VII was, and is an action role-playing game being developed by Square Enix for the Sony PSP. Crisis Core is a prequel to Final Fantasy VII and is also the fourth entry to the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII titles, includeing such titles as Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII and Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, as well as the CGI movie Final Fantasy VII Advent Children and also short the anime movie, Last Order: Final Fantasy VII.

The production of Crisis Core is being overseen by Yoshinori Kitase, the director of the original Final Fantasy VII title for the Playstation 1, also Hajime Tabata is the games director. The character designs are being created by Tetsuya Nomura!

From what we currently know of the title, the games story will mainly focus around Zack, a 1st Class SOLDIER and Cloud Strife while he is still a lowly Shin-Ra Guard, which ofcourse in the events of Final Fantasy VII we are lead to think otherwise. Another character also present in the game is Aerith Gainsborough, inwhich her story shall likely progress far more and explain events again found in Final Fantasy VII. Crisis Core appears to take place around the events of Nibelheim, and the period leading up to sephiroth going insane and becoming what we have all admired as the greatest villain in the series, outlined in Last Order: Final Fantasy VII.

The tagline to Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII is "Men who shed tears for their own fate, and for their friends."
